Absolutely world class. The gold standard for NZ Sauvignon Blancs. Tropical fruits on the nose with a lovely acidity to balance. The 2020 vintage lives up to the high standard. One of my all time favorites and a great value at this price.

Cloudy Bay is one of my all-time favorite Sauvignon Blancs. The 2020 vintage is spectacular and represents all their hard work during an extremely challenging year. Bright acidity with notes of peach, citrus, and zest give this wine a remarkable balance. Pair it will seafood or anything that you'd add a squeeze of lemon or lime and it'll be perfect!

My husband and I used to live in San Francisco, so we’d visit Napa often, and fell in love with reds, namely Cab Franc. We’ve tried quite a few Sauvignon Blancs over the years, but none have compared to Cloudy Bay. We enjoyed it chilled with lemon shrimp pasta, which was a wonderful pairing. If this is what 2020 tastes like even dealing with the pandemic, I can’t wait to see what you produce in the future. Highly recommend!

I am an avid New Zealand / Marlborough region sauvignon blanc drinker. I have tried any and all of these wines, at varying price points. Cloudy Bay is by far and away my favorite, especially when I feel like treating myself to a higher end wine. I have now drank it on my 30th birthday and for other celebrations, including Thanksgiving (it paired great with the turkey!). I highly recommend this wine to anyone who loves the tart and crisp taste of a true NZ sauvi B. It has amazing flavor without being overpowering and leaves you with a smooth taste, unlike others that are too grapefruit forward or acidic. Try it out the next time you want to transition a red wine lover into a white wine enthusiast!
