Product Description

Since 1967, the dedicated winemakers at Chateau Ste. Michelle have transformed the finest grapes into some of the most spectacular wines in the world. Cool harvest nights infuse notes of juicy pear and melon into this Pinot Gris white wine, finished with hints of spice. Uncork for scallops, halibut or spicy noodles. Established in 1934, Chateau Ste. Michelle pioneered vinifera grape growing in Washington state. The winery owns 3,500 acres in the Columbia Valley of eastern Washington, including Horse Heaven, Canoe Ridge Estate and Cold Creek vineyards.

Love this winemaker's version! I was introduced to Pinot Gris wines while visiting New Zealand. I am not a fan of Pinot Grigio; it tastes too much like minerals, but learned that Pinot Gris has a much more balanced taste.

It is always light but full flavored. You can taste the pears and always tastes crisp.
