Product description

The Ken Wright Cellars Pinot Blanc is sourced from the Freedom Hill Vineyard located south of Dallas, OR in the foothills of the Coast Range of the Willamette Valley AVA. The vineyard was planted in 2000, and the Pinot Blanc is a total of 6.1 acrea total. (KWC blocks are 3.25 acres) The vineyard is planted on 4 X 12 foot spacing, with 907 vines to the acre on a geneva Double Curtain Trellis system. The Pinot Blanc clone is 5 on 3309. The vineyard is at 450 ft. elevation on east inclination. The parent material is comprised of ancient marine sediments and the soil series is mostly Bellpine. The vineyard is owned and farmed by Dan, Helen and Dustin Dusschee.
