Gruner Veltliner /12.5% ABV / Kamptal, Austria
Fruity & Crisp Gruner Veltliner
Chicken, Shellfish, Cheese - Creamy & Bloomy
Lois (rhyming with “choice”) is named after the village of Langenlois and was one of the first high-quality examples of Grüner Veltliner to be exported to international markets in 1999. Its intent is an easy-to-enjoy, fresh-tasting style of Grüner Veltliner produced from a combination of estate grown fruit and contracted growers in Lower Austria. Grüner Veltliner’s bright acidity and savory character make it and an ideal partner to mildly spiced Vietnamese, Thai, and Chinese dishes. Fish and shellfish are accented by Grüner Veltliner’s citrus and mineral profile while its acidity cuts the richness of pork or ham. It can also work well with foods that are difficult to pair such as bitter greens and asparagus.View all products by LoimerCalifornia Residents: Click here for Proposition 65 WARNING

This wine is definitely something special taste wise. I dont usually drink wine but had this as part of a class at work and loved it! Crisp, light, a little tart and a little fruity.
