White Wine

Product Description

Domaine de Pellehaut is an all-time favorite that wins medals year after year. This snappy white has a gorgeous floral bouquet with zesty grapefruit and lemon on the refreshing palate. Blended from Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay with local grapes, Ugni Blanc, Colombard and Gros Mansang, it reminds you of a grassy Loire Sauvignon with extra citrus freshness. Perfect for enjoying in the sunshine with fresh seafood. Domaine de Pellehaut is situated at the highest point of Montréal de Gers in France's Gasgogne region. It has been in the Béraut family for three centuries but up until the 1990s they sold their entire production to local negociants. This all changed when son, Mathieu Béraut, took over as winemaker. Mathieu was winemaker at several prestigious estates before he returned home to Pellehaut, including nearby Château Beychevelle in St Julien and California's Au Bon Climat. He decided to bottle the wines at the château and they haven't stopped winning awards since.
