Product description

Coming from plots on the French Riviera, surrounded by olive trees and pine trees, Studio by Miraval is strongly influenced by the sea sprays and the proximity of the Mediterranean Sea. These salty soils give the wine a unique character and an amazing balance. This is a blend of Cinsault, Grenache, Rolle, and Tibouren. All the varieties are vinified by direct pressing. The Cinsault and Tibouren in Stainless steel vats. The Grenache & Rolle are partially vinified in tulip-shaped concrete vats with a rounded bottom. This ovoid shape gives rise to a natural convection movement that suspends the lees creating the same effect as a batonnage and gives the wine a lot of structure. Very pale pink colour. Nose of fresh fruit and citrus fruit. Fleshy palate with notes of citrus and white flowers and a long finish with salinity.

This rose is crisp and smooth. I love Miraval and this wine is just as good. Goes great with almost anything ... especially collage football and the NFL on Sundays. Aside from that you'll love it!

I love this rose'. Beautifully crafted and delightful to drink. Crisp, dry and easy to love. Perfect with olives and cheese , pasta Alfredo, and all by itself. I actually prefer it to the Miraval, which is a very nice rose' also.

I love Miraval and bought this one for the price and reputation. Did not disappoint. Nice, crisp, perfect for a hot summer day. A little sweeter than the Miraval, but still a good Rose.

FAQs

Grenache is a dark-skinned red wine grape that thrives in hot climates. The most well known grenache wines are produced in the Rhône Valley of southern France, but can also be found in Spain, Italy, the United States, and Australia.
Grenache is typically a semi-sweet wine with an ABV of 13.5-16%. Grenache is sometimes compared to pinot noir, tempranillo, or merlot. It features a unique flavor of cinnamon and candied fruit and sometimes mild citrus aromas of grapefruit or orange rinds.
Grenache's intense flavor pairs well with dishes like roasted chicken, smoked meats, pork, and lamb.
It sounds like greh-nash. It’s known as garnacha in Spain, grenache noir in France, and cannonau in Italy.
