Regular Ruffino sparkling rose was a great value, fun and easy pairing with many lighter dishes. It was a sparkling Italian pink without paying for the prosecco marketing. It was similar to finding good Italian plum tomatoes that aren't San Marzano. This current wine really is no better quality, costs more, and is not as fun and pleasant. I suppose it caters more to the low-investment pretentious crowd, but it isn't our go-to anymore.

Sparkling wine, it is a good one. Not to sweet, you can enjoy it with a dessert and the flavor is so good. The mix is perfect

Taste great must be nice and cold. But its something with the bubbly drinks that gets my stomach sick. If it wasn't sparkling would lived it more.

Refreshing like a spring afternoon, perfect for dessert or just conversation, not very strong cheese can make it also

It was really great, got it as a gift. Taste was amazing, perfectly sparkling and little sweet. It was more of a refreshing kind. Won't count it as a regular wine.

I loved this wine- and the bottle's looks itself is very fun! This was a light and refreshing drink amongst a few girlfriends and we all would buy this again! Great tasting wine with bubbles

Light, crisp and refreshing. Great choice for a Sunday Funday or for a dinner party with friends.

FAQs

Like white and red wine, rosé is a broad category of wine that is based on its blushing reddish-pink color. Rosé can be made from any red grape grown from any region with popular types including grenache, pinot noir, sangiovese, syrah, and carignan. In Spain, rosé is called rosado and in Italy it is known as rosato.
A common myth is that all rosé wine is on the sweet side, and while there are certainly some that are quite sweet, you can find alternative styles with very little sweetness.
When you taste a bottle of rosé, expect a combination of fruity and bright flavors like raspberries, citrus, flowers, and strawberries. A typical rosé will tend to be on the sweet side, but not overly so.
This is a wine that pairs well with everything. Think salads, roasts, sushi, and fish dishes.
