Product description

Meiomi Dry Rose Wine is a richly layered and expressive blush wine that opens to delicate aromas of watermelon, orange peel, and subtle hints of rose petal. Each glass of wine offers mouthwatering flavors of strawberry, cranberry, watermelon, and a touch of honey. Made with pinot noir grapes from the exceptional maritime regions of Monterrey, Sonoma, and Santa Barbara, this California wine goes through the traditional press and saignee methods followed by cold fermentation in stainless steel tanks, creating a light and flavorful palate that delivers a lush mouthfeel, bright acidity, and a cool minerality on the finish. This silky rose wine complements chicken dishes, roasted beet salad, soft and creamy cheeses, fruit and vegetable dips, and halibut fish tacos. For best taste, serve chilled at around 50 degrees. Logo on keg/barrel image is representational; brand logo does not appear on product. FAQs

Like white and red wine, rosé is a broad category of wine that is based on its blushing reddish-pink color. Rosé can be made from any red grape grown from any region with popular types including grenache, pinot noir, sangiovese, syrah, and carignan. In Spain, rosé is called rosado and in Italy it is known as rosato.
A common myth is that all rosé wine is on the sweet side, and while there are certainly some that are quite sweet, you can find alternative styles with very little sweetness.
When you taste a bottle of rosé, expect a combination of fruity and bright flavors like raspberries, citrus, flowers, and strawberries. A typical rosé will tend to be on the sweet side, but not overly so.
This is a wine that pairs well with everything. Think salads, roasts, sushi, and fish dishes.
