Product description

JUSTIN's 2019 Rosé is a dry, aromatic, refreshing wine that reminds us that while Rosé is great on a hot summer day, it is also a versatile wine worth reaching for all year long. A Rosé of mostly syrah that is whole cluster pressed and fermented like a white wine, it shows a beautiful salmon color in the glass with bright red fruit, crisp apple and subtle herbal notes. Style: Dry Rosé Appearance: Bright and clear with a pale salmon color Aroma: Strawberry, apple, chamomile and floral notes Palate: Medium bodied with muted strawberry, white cherry, red apple fruit on entry and melon with chamomile flower on the mid-palate. The finish is moderate, fresh and textured with subtle red fruit and herbal notes Food Pairings: Try it with a Cobb Salad in the summertime, or with a roasted chicken seasoned with garlic, thyme and lemon when the weather gets a bit cooler

FAQs

Like white and red wine, rosé is a broad category of wine that is based on its blushing reddish-pink color. Rosé can be made from any red grape grown from any region with popular types including grenache, pinot noir, sangiovese, syrah, and carignan. In Spain, rosé is called rosado and in Italy it is known as rosato.
A common myth is that all rosé wine is on the sweet side, and while there are certainly some that are quite sweet, you can find alternative styles with very little sweetness.
When you taste a bottle of rosé, expect a combination of fruity and bright flavors like raspberries, citrus, flowers, and strawberries. A typical rosé will tend to be on the sweet side, but not overly so.
This is a wine that pairs well with everything. Think salads, roasts, sushi, and fish dishes.
