Product description

The 2011 Emile Beranger Pouilly-Fuisse is a phenomenal white wine that drinks more like an expensive Mersault. This wine is a favorite of Georges Duboeuf the King of Beaujolais because he grew up in this region and has always enjoyed a lovely glass of Pouilly-Fuisse. This is 100 Chardonnay that has been partially aged in French Oak for 6 months which gives the wine a slight hint of almonds and cinnamon on the nose. The real magic is when you first sip the wine and get such a delicate lime and green apple taste on your tongue. This is ideal with grilled salmon or sea bass, asparagus veloute, lobster bisque and light pasta dishes. Country France, Region Burgundy
