It's a little heavier but it has a really nice smoky flavor that I love to pair with richer red meats such as short ribs. It's a slower drink than the red blend but I still highly recommend.
This is good. Definitely drink it Ice cold! Taste much better. Great for girls night or casual sipping
It is always a treat to get a glass of Saldo. I first tried it at a wine tasting event. I loved it. Whenever I see it at the store I get a bottle. It makes a great gift too. If you don't know what bottle to buy for someone else- this will not disappoint.
I was a little disappointed in this one, I am a huge fan of the red blend and I love a good Zin. While this was still a good wine I can't say for the price it was worth it, I think there are others that would come higher on the list.
This wine pairs with everything! It is great on its own, but can also stand up to a steak dinner with filling sides. This wine is very smooth and always such a crowd pleased. People are shocked to hear that this is a Zinandel. I always have a few extra bottles of this at home. The simple typed label makes it easily recognizable to purchase in the store. It is a simple looking wine bottle, but definitely not simple tasting.
Great Vin de soif — it goes as well with pizza as it does on its own with friends. Doesn't need a lot of time to aerate and is a good value for the price. Buy now, drink now!
I love this wine! This is a total crowd pleaser as it has a beautiful label, complex flavor that is beautifully paired with food or can easily stand alone as a wine to drink without anything else in a supporting role. All in all a very enjoyable wine.
This is one of my husband's and my absolute favorite Zins. It has a smooth finish and a robust but not overpowering flavor. The price is good for the quality and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good red wine to pair with their meal.
This is an absolutely stunning red. Bold flavors and great body will stand up to strong flavors. Can't go wrong with Prisoner wines.
My favorite Zinfandel! First, look at that sleek bottle and label, so understated and love having it out when I have guests. And the juice, my lord!! It's a little on the pricey side, but I just buy in bulk when I can get a discount.
