Very harsh, almost ransid. Not sure what happened but definitely not a keeper
Bota Box Old Vine Zinfandel
Zinfandel /13% ABV / California, United States
Pork, Dessert - Chocolate & Coffee
Bota Box Old Vine Zinfandel is rich in color with aromas of blackberry bramble, red currant and a touch of spice. Concentrated and fruit forward, Bota Zin showcases black cherry fruit and toasted oak on the palate, with hints of black pepper that carry through to a long, lingering finish. Nicely balanced acidity and supple tannins make this medium-bodied wine an ideal partner for roasted pork tenderloin studded with garlic and rosemary, grilled burgers topped with blue cheese, or even chocolate brownies.View all products by Bota BoxCalifornia Residents: Click here for Proposition 65 WARNING

I will get this zinfandel again. It has a good balance of tannins. It develops then lingers on the palate with a slow decrescendo. Drier than expected from a box wine but I don't prefer sweet wine.

Exactly what you’d expect an old vine zin to taste like for the price. Good for weeknight drinking with dinner.

And we've done a blind taste test with Someone Who Knows Wine and they could not tell. Worried about the cardboard and SARS-CoV-2? We leave ours out in the garage for 5 days after unpacking (washing hands carefully thereafter). By that time all virus must be gone.

This was my first time ordering wine! This was a good choice. Great taste and value . Couldn’t be more please. I am day 2 and still have another 4 glasses of serving left.

The Zin is so freaking good! It's basically four bottles of wine for $20 and it's really good wine. My sister is a Total Wine snob and I'm going to take some to her house this weekend to do the Pepsi challenge.
