Product Description
The 2009 Liberty School Cuvée exudes aromas of blueberries and cherries along with hints of eucalyptus. Zesty acidity gives way to a round mouthfeel of cranberries and plum on the mid-palate along with hints of pepper and herbs. Elements of minerality and velvety smooth tannins lead to a long, satisfying finish. 85% Syrah, 7% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Petite Sirah, 3% Grenache, 2% Viognier The Central Coast of California is an ideal growing region for making world-class wines and Paso Robles continues to gain notoriety for its stellar blended wines. The diversity of the region is its strength and Liberty School Cuvée is an impressive example. It is comprised predominately of Syrah; smaller amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Petite Sirah and Viognier round out this cuvée, which harmoniously melds the best characteristics of each varietal to make a complex and unique red blend.
