Product Description

This Syrah blend is noteworthy for its explosive aromatics, with thick, rich fresh fruits of blackberry, boysenberry, plum and blueberry mingling with kirsch, chocolate truffles and subtle dried meat notes of Sopressata and iberico ham, along with the hints of fresh herbs and baking spices. On the palate, the wine is rich and full bodied, with waves of red, black and blue fruits, jam, and chocolate coating the mouth before being lifted by ripe tannins and amble, yet round acidity and finishing with hints of meats (bacon, salami), anise and rich dark earth. The wine finishes extraordinarily long and fresh, as acid and mineral notes continue to support the rich fruits for upwards of a minute. The wine will age well for many years.
