Fun novelty label can be a gag gift for eclectic friends or conversation starter when hosting. Wine is drinkable, not bad, but not special. Taking into account it’s a not a prime time grape then kudos for a nice execution by winery of “something different “. Advise using for brunch - best served casual like to quaff while cooking at a cook out. Shift to something with more flavor with BBQ. To me, it’s best to drink it without food or with food that won’t overpower the wine. Give it time to open / decant - it’s young & tight on opening bottle.
Chronic Cellars Suite Petite
Petite Sirah /14% ABV / California, United States
The Beckett brothers deliver a wine that starts with aromas of concentrated blackberry jam, toasted wood, plum and violet. The palate is floral and fresh, with penetrating flavors of blueberry sorbet that rest against a strong tannic structure.View all products by Chronic CellarsCalifornia Residents: Click here for Proposition 65 WARNING
