This wine is made from meticulously tended Malbec grapes grown on high-elevation, old vines in the Lujan de Cuyo region of Mendoza, in the foothills of the Andes Mountains. It boasts exquisite aromas of dark berries, plum and spice, and is well balanced with ample structure and mild tannins. Dark cherry and hints of wood smoke emerge on the finish to leave an elegant and lasting impression.View all products by 90+ Cellars

Argentina is known for having some killer value wines, and this Lot 23 Old Vine Malbec is no exception. The grapes are hand harvested from 100 year old vines from the Argelo region of the Lujan de Cuyo, one of the world's most exceptional wine growing regions. The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks and then aged for 6 months in blend of both new and used French Oak, creating a fresh, yet round and approachable texture. The nose is enveloped in dark stewed berries, reminicent of a blackberry cobbler. That dark fruit is carried over onto the palate with dark cherries and plums, accompanied by spice cabinet notes, including cinnamon, black pepper and turmeric. Enjoy this wine on its own, or pair with a hearty stew, or gamier meats like lamb, duck or wild boar ragu.
