The 2011 Classic Four is 40% Cabernet Sauvignon which gives the wine lovely red currant, cassis flavors and backbone, 28% Cabernet Franc adds raspberry and wild flower aromas as well as richness on the Palate, 6% Malbec adds a black cherry aroma and taste and 26% Petit Verdot gives it structure for all of these flavors to stand up in your mouth. In our humble opinion this is probably the best $27 Cabernet Sauvignon blend you've ever tasted. 2012 Classic Four is meant for near-term enjoyment but will also gain in complexity over the next 3 to 5 years.
