Limited-production blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Syrah, and Petite Sirah from specific Sonoma County appellations. Director’s Cut Cinema is composed each vintage of Sonoma County fruit; Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel. Because we’ve made single varietal Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel for many years now, we understand the diverse profiles of different selections and know which work best when blended together. Those who are fans of Super Tuscans will enjoy the exotic spice character as well as the juicy fruit impressions of blackberries, cherries, currants, anise and cigar box. The palate has a soft, elegant entry provided by the Zinfandel, while the mid-palate offers rich, bold flavors of cassis courtesy of our Cabernet Sauvignon. Lengthy tannins from our Petite Sirah hold everything together for a dramatic finish.
