FAQs

A Champagne blend is a famous style of sparkling wine made from three main grapes - pinot noir, chardonnay and pinot meunier. The blend of wine may only be called Champagne if it is produced in the Champagne region of France.
The three main grapes used for Champagne blends are chardonnay, pinot noir, and pinot meunier. The other four additional grapes that are officially permitted to be used, but are quite rare in practice are pinot gris, pinot blanc, petit meslier, and arbane.
