Product description

When his daughter was a little girl, Francis Coppola made her a promise that he would someday make a sparkling wine and name it after her. Today, this Blanc de Blancs is one of our most popular offerings, a favorite for parties and weddings. Mellow flavors of apples and pears are topped by a hint of citrus and honeysuckle. Elegant in character, this wine is lightly textured and vibrant through the finish.

This was a real treat. Dry, fizzy and beautifully packaged. It is really lovely and drank well.

Excellent alternative to my regular prosecco. Smooth, crisp and subtlety sweet. Absolutely loved it!!

This is one of my fav wines...just add strawberries to bring out the best in the flavor. I love the individual cans with a straw it comes in as well. I told my kids they are "Mommy Juice Boxes"! They are perfect for when you only want a glass or two instead of an entire bottle. Not that it happens too often at my house, but ya know, we need our choices!!

There's just a really odd, overpowering clove flavor that doesn't pair well with the sweetness. We moved on to something else and threw this one away. It's not one we can recommend. :(

FAQs

This wine is the American version of Champagne and is made from a blend of three grapes - pinot noir, chardonnay, and pinot meunier. Most sparkling wine is non-vintage, which means the winemakers have used grapes from different years and blended them. American sparkling wine is similar to Champagne but because it was not produced in the Champagne region of France, it legally can’t use that name (although some producers in the US do anyway).
Because only sparkling wine produced in the Champagne region of France can officially be called Champagne, other countries and regions are not allowed to use this designation. American producers, however, sometimes ignore this practice and label their products as American champagne or California champagne.
American sparkling wine varies in its ABV, but typically contains up to 12% alcohol content.
