Vineyard Location: Paso Robles, CA

Justin Baldwin founded JUSTIN Winery in 1981 in Paso Robles, CA with the goal of creating some of the finest wines in the world. He chose Paso Robles as the location for his vineyard because the limestone rich soil produces grapes with wonderful structure and bold flavor. The founding mission of the winery and the philosophy of today is to make world-class Bordeux-style blends.

In 1986, JUSTIN produced their first wines: a cabernet sauvignon and a chardonnay. However, they were not available to the public, only close friends. The following year, in 1987, JUSTIN released their first Bordeaux-style blend, called JUSTIN Reserve at the time, but is now better known as JUSTIN Isoceles. It's a famous blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot.

JUSTIN Wines became a household name in the wine industry in 1997 when Wine Spectator names the 1997 Isoceles vintage as the sixth best wine the world in their annual Top 100 rankings. In addition to this top-selling blend, JUSTIN also produces other red wines like syrahs, malbecs and merlots and white wines like viognier and sauvignon blanc.
