You've probably heard it said that a glass of wine a day is good for the heart. Scientifically, there are already several healthy components in a good glass of wine. For Mark Warren, co-founder of FitVine, the potential for a truly healthy wine was too tempting to resist.
Mark had been into athletics since he was a child. He eventually became a competitive 4th-level black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and later, a CrossFit junkie. A collaboration was begun with friend and fellow health nut Tom Beaton. They decided to craft a wine specifically designed for athletes and others who crave a wine that resonates with their healthy lifestyles.
FitVine products differ from traditional wines in several ways. You'll find lower levels of sulfites, tannins and colors, thanks in part to a filtering process that uses micron pads and diatomaceous earth. Their wines are substantially lower in sugar due to dry fermentation techniques. All FitVine wines are gluten-free and vegan-friendly.
Drizly is proud to offer several varieties of FitVine wine, including cabernet, pinot noir, rosé and chardonnay.
