The Arbor Mist brand is all about dreamy vacation-style beverages. Their product is a wine blend, using popular varieties like merlots and chardonnays and adding fruity flavor and an extra kick of sweetness. These vibrant spritzers are light and fizzy, ideal for sunny days spent outside on the patio or a tropical destination beach. The Arbor Mist line comes in flavors like Pineapple Strawberry Pink Moscato, Pomegranate Berry Pinot Noir and Sangria Zinfandel. Swirling tendrils of color and whimsical fonts adorn each bottle’s exterior. In addition to the 14 available flavors, Arbor Mist-ophiles can now sip an Arborita, the brand’s ready-made margaritas.

The Arbor Mist Winery in New York originally made and sold the popular product, using online marketing strategies such as downloadable party games (truth or dare anyone?) and cheeky slogans like, “Can’t Resist the Mist.” Arbor Mist products are low in alcohol and were once compared to alcoholic soda rather than considered a real wine. Critics aside, the brand has only grown in popularity since its successful release in the late 1990s. E&J Gallo Winery proved it couldn’t resist the mist either and acquired the brand in 2020. Gallo’s wine portfolio includes well over 100 respected brands.
