Tips & Hacks | Wine Ice Cubes

Do you ever find yourself with leftover wine? Probably not. However, if you do come across this situation in the future – think twice prior to dumping the bottle.

You can freeze leftover wine and use them for cooking at a later date. Simply pour the wine into an ice cube tray, once the wine is frozen, transfer the cubes into a plastic bag and keep in the freezer until needed.

According to Still Tasty, an opened bottle of red wine in the refrigerator lasts 3-5 days while an opened bottle of red wine in the freezer lasts 4-6 months. This is great for stews, salad dressings and sauces.
