Red wine made with selected grapes of Tempranillo (100%) picked by hand from the eldest vines of our vineyards in La Sonsierra.It was made by traditional method adapted to get a wines of a great structure.In this wine the aromatic and fruity flavours of Tempranillo is added to the balsamic hints of the oak used for the ageing. This wine is ageing for18 months in new American oak barrels where the malolactic fermentation is made. Later, it is bottled and it is lying during more than 18 months. All theses processes are carried on at the subterranean aisles of our cellar. Deep cherry red colour with rubi hints at the ring. At the nose, it is powerful, displaying a range of aromas going from toasted oak to red and dark ripped fruits, jam prune over a balsamic background. It is balanced, round and jamy with elegant and very well integrated tannins of fruit and oak with some lactic and mineral hints. This aged wine should be decanted to breath 1 or 2 hours before delight.
