Samichlaus may be aged for many years to come. Older vintages become more complex with a creamy warming finish. Serve with hardy robust dishes and desserts, particulary with chocolates, or as an after dinner drink by itself. Here our Nikolo beer experiences (Santa Claus = Swiss for Nicholas) special treatment in oak barrels: the finished matured beer is aged in used Chardonnay barrels, which we get from excellent vineyards Anton Bauer from Feuersbrunn. This particular storage enables a complex interplay of flavors. We recommend eg chocolate desserts.
