Cabernet Sauvignon COLCHAGUA VALLEY / MAIPO VALLEY An elegant wine with plum and cassis aromas that lead to rich and ripe red berry flavors. The grapes are hand-picked, double sorted, fermented and left on the skins after fermentation to extract deep color and rich flavors. The best lots of the vintage are selected, married to blend harmoniously and aged in French oak for a minimum of 12 months. Cabernet Sauvignon is the top red grape varietal grown in Chile which was transported to the country from France in the 1800s. It is a late-ripening grape that flourishes in the warmer vineyards and drier climates like Chile’s Colchagua (Kohl-CHA-gwa) Valley and Maipo Valley.
