Steeping fresh pomegranate in The Botanist Gin gives this cocktail its distinct color and flavor. We promise it's worth the wait. 


  • 2.5 oz The Botanist Islay Dry Gin
  • 1 heaping tablespoon fresh pomegranate arils
  • .5 oz dry vermouth
  • Fresh thyme (for serving)


  • Jigger
  • Mixing glass

  • Bar spoon
  • Old Fashioned
  • Martini glass

How to Mix

  1. Combine pomegranate arils and gin in a mixing glass and muddle. Allow to steep for 1-2 hours.
  2. Add vermouth and ice and stir to chill.
  3. Fine strain into a chilled martini or cocktail glass.
  4. Garnish with sprig of fresh thyme.
