Head Charge DIPA features an enlightened state of haze and hops; brewed with a bunch of 2-row and oats to deliver the hazy body that has the kids going crazy these days. Robbie and crew dropped around three pounds of hops per barrel into the cold side, which, when you add it all up, ends up being a crazy amount of green designed to send the lupulin aromas straight through your senses. Citra, Amarillo and Cascade hops lead the charge to deliver a nice citrus and resin character that's balanced by the fruity esters of our house ale yeast. Topped off with a round, creamy mouthfeel from all of those oats. First DIPA, you say? We've gotten by with a little help from our friends in the past, but we're hyped for HeadCharge to hit the streets.
