Based in Graton, California, Mark West's winemaker, Jason Becker, produces a Pinot Noir that showcases ripe strawberry, raspberry, black cherry and juicy plum. These fruit notes are rounded out with subtle cinnamon and vanilla pod, two flavors that are a product of French oak aging. These flavors work perfectly with the acid and structure provided by Pacific ocean air and harvesting the thin-skinned grapes at just the right time.
