Product Description

Single Malt, reimagined. Born of the unique culture, climate and abundant resources of the Northwest, this elevated American original demonstrates craftsmanship and creativity. This distinct, rich, and brazen American Single Malt — the pinnacle of whiskey is created from locally malted barley, brewed with ale yeast for exceptional flavor, and matured to perfection in new, lightly charred American Oak barrels in Oregon, where the hot, dry summers and cool, wet winters are the ideal environment to raise a world class whiskey.

Incredible Whiskey, a great introduction to American Single Malt for me. I found it a great sipping whiskey but it was also incredible in an Old Fashioned. I would highly recommend this whiskey.

Great find! The rich malted barley drives this incredibly complex, fruit-forward whiskey. And the finish just goes on and on... it's sweet, spicy and bold!

Delicious. Balanced, with notes of pear and baking spice.

I bought a bottle of Westward for a friend who loves whiskey. He loved it! According to him, it was everything he loves about single malts and bourbon, all in one. Next up, I'll enjoy one of these myself.

Love this American Single Malt Whiskey, such an exciting category. Works well in cocktails or neat!

FAQs

Yes, whiskey is gluten-free, thanks to the distillation process used to make it. The Celiac Disease Foundation concluded that it can safely be considered gluten-free, though it’s still possible that some people with high gluten sensitivity or celiac disease could have a reaction to whiskeys created from certain grains.
Whiskey can include a large number of different distilled spirits made from fermented grain mash — usually cereal grains like rye, barley malt, wheat and corn. The drink undergoes aging in wooden containers, most often oak.
One of the reasons whiskey is so popular is that there’s no single way to enjoy it. There’s the purist route — straight and neat, no mixers, no ice — but what fun is being a purist? You can add water to it, which can enhance certain bottles’ flavors or you can add it with other ingredients to make delicious mixed drinks. It’s the foundation of the Manhattan, the Old Fashioned, the Whiskey Sour and many others.
