Product description

Experience the tale told by the tides with a swig of Talisker 25 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky. At bottled strength, it has a gentle start, immediately building in intensity. This appetizingly dry and fully mature Scotch then kicks in peppery and hot, balancing bitterness, salt and a little smoke. Smooth and firm in body, its finish is long, warming, slightly bitter and very drying. This beautifully orchestrated variation of Talisker has a lingering finish which cannot outstay its welcome. Distilled by the sea on the shores of the Isle of Skye in Scotland, centuries of local distilling tradition and the rugged environment are what make our whisky so unique. A rich and smooth Talisker, it should be enjoyed in a Talisker Rocks Glass, neat or with a little water. Includes one 91.6 proof 750 mL bottle of Talisker 25 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Please drink responsibly. This rare 25-year-old single malt has great depth and is full of vibrant but mellow character. Honeysuckle, beeswax, hints of fruity smoke, pineapple, lychee juice, a hint of violet, juicy orange, and light smoke. Floral notes linger for a long and warming finish.

FAQs

Yes, whiskey is gluten-free, thanks to the distillation process used to make it. The Celiac Disease Foundation concluded that it can safely be considered gluten-free, though it’s still possible that some people with high gluten sensitivity or celiac disease could have a reaction to whiskeys created from certain grains.
Whiskey can include a large number of different distilled spirits made from fermented grain mash — usually cereal grains like rye, barley malt, wheat and corn. The drink undergoes aging in wooden containers, most often oak.
One of the reasons whiskey is so popular is that there’s no single way to enjoy it. There’s the purist route — straight and neat, no mixers, no ice — but what fun is being a purist? You can add water to it, which can enhance certain bottles’ flavors or you can add it with other ingredients to make delicious mixed drinks. It’s the foundation of the Manhattan, the Old Fashioned, the Whiskey Sour and many others.
