    Anyone who comments negatively about the taste of Lagavulin is obviously a novice and should be discounted. They can go back to Johnnie Walker where it's easy to understand.

    I've have a few different types of scotch in my day and lagavulin with out question is by far the worst. 80$ for what is basically a 750ml bottle carburetor cleaner is mind-blowing. I blame parks and recreation for this lol

    Significant nose of earth, sea, and smoke. Taste is thick and immediate, seaweed, dried apricot, iodine, sea salt, pickle brine, black pepper, just a tiny bit of dark chocolate. A significant "experience" whiskeyagain, not necessarily a "sipping" or relaxing whiskey. Long lasting, slightly puckering aftertaste, with elements of tangerine, lime, and vinegar. Again, this is more of an experience than a pleasure, but a worthwhile one.every bow absb

Yes, whiskey is gluten-free, thanks to the distillation process used to make it. The Celiac Disease Foundation concluded that it can safely be considered gluten-free, though it’s still possible that some people with high gluten sensitivity or celiac disease could have a reaction to whiskeys created from certain grains.
Whiskey can include a large number of different distilled spirits made from fermented grain mash — usually cereal grains like rye, barley malt, wheat and corn. The drink undergoes aging in wooden containers, most often oak.
