She is a hard to please Scot however she likes the sweeter, warmer notes of this whisky, I have saved some to test on our friends this weekend. TBC

It's good scotch.
This is one of the sweetest single malt whiskies on the market I'm aware of. It's well developed considering it has no peat or smoke flavors. The cognac barrel aging does a lot to this bottle... much more than expected. This is a perfect drink for newbies just getting into the brown water. I LOVE this whisky with dark chocolate, cheddar cheese, and / or dry roasted peanuts.
Smooth. Tried this on vacation.. very smooth sipping. Affordable if you can swing it for a special occasion.
This is very smooth, more so than the standard 12 year. Unfortunately, for me, the Cognac Cask finish at the end is evident, so the true scotch flavor profile gets drowned out.. Nothing bad about that, but just like the Caribbean Cask with the Rum finish, this one does have Cognac notes. I don’t care for Rum or Cognac, but 60 bucks and there’s nothing smoother
Ordered as a gift for a family member and it arrived in about 25 minutes with no issues.
