Product description

From Whisky Magazine: "Nose: Fresh, mild antiseptic, subtle peat smoke; Palate: Complex. Smoked haddock, cut plug tobacco, burnt newspapers, but buttery, sweeter cooked fruit notes predominate; Finish: Chewy toffee drying out to oak; Comment: A fine robust dram with lots happening. Laphroaig at its best."

Smooth and peaty scotch. Percent alcohol is higher than the regular 10 yr Laphroaig, is less peaty but still smooth

I don't usually rate things, but I saw people giving this 1 star for their shopping experience.... which should be on the app or driver, not the drink. Laph 10 CS is one of the best Islays out there, and maybe one of the best whiskies. Bonfire smoke seaside, sweetness, brine, complexity and then cask strength throwing it over the top. Cheers!

This is my absolute favorite Islay, rich smoke without the iodine that some others present and a subtle but lingering brine. Hidden within the peat and brine are a myriad of subtle flavors which keep one interested as they mix and evolve. It doesn’t drink like a high abv whiskey and is surprisingly light on the tongue with a finish that lasts and lasts. Simply a magnificent whisky.

Did not receive what I ordered. Was charged the amount an recieved a cheaper brand in its place and wasn’t refunded the difference. Same as the beer.

This is the one Scotch that I could have for the reast of my time on this small piece of solar drift wood. G

FAQs

Yes, whiskey is gluten-free, thanks to the distillation process used to make it. The Celiac Disease Foundation concluded that it can safely be considered gluten-free, though it’s still possible that some people with high gluten sensitivity or celiac disease could have a reaction to whiskeys created from certain grains.
Whiskey can include a large number of different distilled spirits made from fermented grain mash — usually cereal grains like rye, barley malt, wheat and corn. The drink undergoes aging in wooden containers, most often oak.
One of the reasons whiskey is so popular is that there’s no single way to enjoy it. There’s the purist route — straight and neat, no mixers, no ice — but what fun is being a purist? You can add water to it, which can enhance certain bottles’ flavors or you can add it with other ingredients to make delicious mixed drinks. It’s the foundation of the Manhattan, the Old Fashioned, the Whiskey Sour and many others.
