Product Description

Indulge all of your senses with a smooth glass of Johnnie Walker Black Label The Director’s Cut Blended Scotch Whisky. With our trademark smokiness and a contemporary twist, our Black Label is a rich, smooth whisky blend with dark fruit and vanilla flavors. Thirty-seven years on from being the drink of choice in cult sci-fi classic Blade Runner, Johnnie Walker Black Label returns to the big screen in its highly-anticipated sequel Blade Runner 2049. The Director’s Cut is a limited edition Scotch Whisky created by our Master Blender in collaboration with visionary filmmaker Denis Villeneuve. It is bottled at 49% ABV as a nod to the futuristic period in which the film is set. Simply mix with clarified lemon juice and honey syrup with a slice of fresh ginger to make bartender Tenzin Samdo’s futuristic Penicillin 2049 cocktail. Johnnie Walker was recognized as one of the world's top-trending Scotch whiskies at the 2020 Drinks International awards. Includes one 98 proof 750 mL bottle of Black Label The Director’s Cut Blended Scotch Whisky. Please drink responsibly.

I am very much enjoying this limited edition scotch whisky. It has a nice smokiness with an enjoyable after taste. Would recommend for sci-fi and scotch fans alike.

FAQs

Yes, whiskey is gluten-free, thanks to the distillation process used to make it. The Celiac Disease Foundation concluded that it can safely be considered gluten-free, though it’s still possible that some people with high gluten sensitivity or celiac disease could have a reaction to whiskeys created from certain grains.
Whiskey can include a large number of different distilled spirits made from fermented grain mash — usually cereal grains like rye, barley malt, wheat and corn. The drink undergoes aging in wooden containers, most often oak.
One of the reasons whiskey is so popular is that there’s no single way to enjoy it. There’s the purist route — straight and neat, no mixers, no ice — but what fun is being a purist? You can add water to it, which can enhance certain bottles’ flavors or you can add it with other ingredients to make delicious mixed drinks. It’s the foundation of the Manhattan, the Old Fashioned, the Whiskey Sour and many others.
