The Glenmorangie distillery, founded in 1843 is renowned as a pioneer in whisky making, uniting tradition with innovation. The Glenmorangie 12 Year Old Sherry Cask Finish has spent ten years maturing in American White Oak ex-Bourbon barrels before being extra matured for two years in ex-Oloroso and renowned Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks from Jerez in Spain. It has a luscious, soft, mouth-filling texture and a deep, enticing, sweet aroma.     I found the original Glenmorangie a few years ago at duty free, and really liked it. Since then, I’ve experimented with several different offerings from them. This Lasanta is my absolute favorite. Very similar in taste to the signet, but at a fraction of the price. Love it!

    Lovely stuff, but not worth the current (Covid market realities) prices right now. If you like Glenmo Original, imagine it with more body and a lovely sherry influence. Very pleasant dram.
