Product description

Dewar’s 12 Year Old is a double-aged Blended Scotch Whisky to be experienced. This scotch liquor delivers a smooth rich taste with notes of dried fruit, citrus and vanilla. This all-round extra smooth blend won Double Gold at the 2021 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. After you’ve experienced Dewar’s 12 Year Old neat, you can then go on to appreciate its more complex flavors in an Original Highball or try an Aromatic Highball, which is a rich, refreshing, sweet and herbaceous version of this now classic drink. You can also kick the flavorful experience up a notch by pairing this oak cask whisky with delectable foods like aged Gouda cheese, mixed nuts and bread pudding. The extra years spent aging in oak casks result in richer, fuller flavors and more rounded aromas for this scotch alcohol. And of course, it has Dewar’s legendary smooth character. Simply put, Dewar's 12 Year Old is aged, blended and aged again. The extra step provides greater balance and smoothness. Enjoy Responsibly.

We discovered it did not come, nor the Dewar’s 1 ltr. bottle, which I enjoy very much. As a sipping on budget. Favourite is Glenfidditch !12 or 14 yr, I believe.

It's honestly one of my favorites, especially considering the price. Little to no bite with a smooth taste & bold notes.

FAQs

Yes, whiskey is gluten-free, thanks to the distillation process used to make it. The Celiac Disease Foundation concluded that it can safely be considered gluten-free, though it’s still possible that some people with high gluten sensitivity or celiac disease could have a reaction to whiskeys created from certain grains.
Whiskey can include a large number of different distilled spirits made from fermented grain mash — usually cereal grains like rye, barley malt, wheat and corn. The drink undergoes aging in wooden containers, most often oak.
One of the reasons whiskey is so popular is that there’s no single way to enjoy it. There’s the purist route — straight and neat, no mixers, no ice — but what fun is being a purist? You can add water to it, which can enhance certain bottles’ flavors or you can add it with other ingredients to make delicious mixed drinks. It’s the foundation of the Manhattan, the Old Fashioned, the Whiskey Sour and many others.
