“We’ve done it boys!” We found the peaty scotch that has BACON ? despite many tasting notes from others apparently didn’t get that? if the legends are true - there is a whiskey out there that’s even MORE BACONY & Charred Pork Belly loveliness! Is it Octomore?! Am I that much of a peat head that its time to ascend? Coal Ila 12 actually scared me away from Islay but loved the initial Peaty tingle massage of the throat (shame it isn’t a effect that lasts; seems to disappear) But by the end of the bottle, didn’t want another bottle, but I RESPECTED Coal Ila 12 & my top 3 ATM includes Oban 14 Single Malt highlands super coastal and peaty heaven) after having Talisker 10 & bought Bunnahabhain 12 Islay A/B comparison adding a drop of water I was astonished Talisker 10 was more intense & aggressive. Arbeg 10 was too tame surprisingly the THIS my gid I hope theres more bacon whiskeys that don’t turn cheese (hate cheese since birth) question being with no flavor reference for any cheeses…..Would I even notice? Also wondering if I went back to Caol Ila 12 now… would-I like it? So many questions… ahaha (also Balcones heritage, Amrut Fushion, Irish Peat Teeling Blackoits a fav)

Product description
In 1815, Ardbeg’s founder established our Distillery on the rugged, wild coastal rocks of South Islay. Over 200 years later, we’re still using our unique peat-laden wild water source and wisdom handed down through generations to craft the Ultimate Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Matured in ex-bourbon American Oak and ex-Oloroso Sherry casks, Uigeadail - pronounced ‘Ooga-dal’ – is Gaelic for ‘dark and mysterious place’, named after the Ardbeg’s water source, Loch Uigeadail. Shawn Solomon L. Verified BuyerVerified BuyerAlways a great choice.
Thomas Verified BuyerVerified BuyerIf you don't like peaty whiskey, stay a mile away. I love peat, and this is one of my favorites. This one also has body and complexity. I am not an expert and don't know the jargon, but I do like Uigeadail.
Jason Verified BuyerVerified BuyerThe best adult beverage iv ever had
Harrison Verified BuyerVerified BuyerI bought this bottle for my son for his birthday. He likes the 'peatier' Scotches and hasn't had this version before. I believe it was/is a 'hit'.
Mark Verified BuyerVerified BuyerNice flavor, also you don't need as much since it is 54%. I usually drink Johnny Walker Black or once in awhile Blue, but starting to like these more flavorful Scotches.
Jonathan Verified BuyerVerified BuyerLove this scotch. It's my go-to when I'm looking for peat scotch.
