Located in the rural Greenbrier Valley of West Virginia, Smooth Ambler uses state-of-the-art distillery equipment in conjunction with the natural resources of the region; high-valley mountain air, natural waters, ideal temperature variations and friendly folks. The result is a truly remarkable crafted drink. Each savory sip of Contradiction Rye is a stunning marriage of velvety aromatics and notes of muddled in-season allspice...oh who are we kidding....It's a blend of whiskey we make in West Virgina and whiskies we love from other distilleries. It's four mashbills in one. Tasting Notes: Full of oak, dried cherries, vanilla, and cinnamon creating a signature mature bourbon nose. Sweet from the wheat and spice from the rye and a bit of leather round out the palate. Its viscosity creates a smooth and pleasant finish.
