Product description

Your first sip of our signature whiskey is more than just a sip. It’s a discovery of rye’s beautifully complex flavors. With a rye content of 95%, well past the 51% required for the category, we’ve recreated the classic American whiskey that ruled our glasses before Prohibition. Nose: Big and spicy, toasted oak, vegetal notes, allspice and anise Palate: Beautiful rye spice with light floral and citrus notes along with dark spices and black pepper Finish: Slight mint finish makes this great for sipping or mixing in a classic cocktail

It would taste better if the cork wasn’t sprinkled throughout the entire bottle ?

They accidentally brought me the bourbon instead of the rye. I haven’t opened it yet. Hopefully it is good.

Eminently drinkable, but overpriced for the complexity and quality.

Cork was too big for bottle, so it would leave little specks of cork around the neck. Wasn’t a big deal, would drink again

A bit odd, almost soupy after taste on its own. Better in a cocktail.

First rye I have gotten, and really liked it. Reminded me of banana bread with walnuts

I've been looking for the perfect Rye for 10+ years for my old fashioned and I am happy to say this Rye is perfect balance of spice, smokey and smooth taste where you could even drink it neat or on the rocks. It also is priced very well for the budget, weekend bartender. Enjoy this one with friends.

Yes, whiskey is gluten-free, thanks to the distillation process used to make it. The Celiac Disease Foundation concluded that it can safely be considered gluten-free, though it’s still possible that some people with high gluten sensitivity or celiac disease could have a reaction to whiskeys created from certain grains.
Whiskey can include a large number of different distilled spirits made from fermented grain mash — usually cereal grains like rye, barley malt, wheat and corn. The drink undergoes aging in wooden containers, most often oak.
One of the reasons whiskey is so popular is that there’s no single way to enjoy it. There’s the purist route — straight and neat, no mixers, no ice — but what fun is being a purist? You can add water to it, which can enhance certain bottles’ flavors or you can add it with other ingredients to make delicious mixed drinks. It’s the foundation of the Manhattan, the Old Fashioned, the Whiskey Sour and many others.
