I am normally more of a bourbon drinker and I have to tell you this is excellent. The wine maturation gives it great depth of flavor. Another great product form the guys at Teeling.

Teeling Single Grain Irish Whiskey is crafted using an unconventional mash bill consisting of 95% corn and 5% malted barley that has been triple distilled and matured exclusively in French oak Ex-Cabernet Sauvignon red wine casks from California, producing a truly unique Irish Whiskey NOSE: Spice and fruit notes mingle with an underlying sweet nose. TASTE: Strong spice at the start developing into lush red berries and grapes, with drying tannin effect at the end. FINISH: Dry finish dominated by wood and spice.
