Product details

Irish Whiskey
Years Aged

Product description

Matured for 18 years in hand-selected oak casks from Europe and America, this rare whiskey is finished in first-fill bourbon barrels. This rite of passage introduces subtle traces of vanilla to an exceptionally balanced, mellow whiskey with a lingering finale of wood, spice and toffee. An elder statesman of Jameson's portfolio, each bottle of this unique whiskey is individually numbered.

Absolutely amazing. Tried it and would only drink it on special occasions. Has a great taste and is very smooth

The title says it all: simply outstanding. No additional description is necessary. I have always preferred Irish whiskey over Scottish, regardless of the considerable difference in marketing efforts.

It was given to me as a gift and by far the best Jameson I've ever had.

I sipped on Jameson 18 Year at a bar in October and immediately began searching for a bottle. I was elated to find one at the liquor store one and a half hours from my home! This is the smoothest Jameson and tastes amazing. Perfect for sipping and relaxing!

Some friends in Cobh Ireland sent me a bottle and it is our "special occasions" whiskey.

Yes, whiskey is gluten-free, thanks to the distillation process used to make it. The Celiac Disease Foundation concluded that it can safely be considered gluten-free, though it’s still possible that some people with high gluten sensitivity or celiac disease could have a reaction to whiskeys created from certain grains.
Whiskey can include a large number of different distilled spirits made from fermented grain mash — usually cereal grains like rye, barley malt, wheat and corn. The drink undergoes aging in wooden containers, most often oak.
One of the reasons whiskey is so popular is that there’s no single way to enjoy it. There’s the purist route — straight and neat, no mixers, no ice — but what fun is being a purist? You can add water to it, which can enhance certain bottles’ flavors or you can add it with other ingredients to make delicious mixed drinks. It’s the foundation of the Manhattan, the Old Fashioned, the Whiskey Sour and many others.
