Product description

Texas Crown Club Whisky was created for true cowboys and cowgirls, legends and oil history. From the crown of their western hat, down to the tips of their needle-nosed boots, cowboys deserve a Great Shot! Texas Crown Club Whisky is a multi-grain spirit made from a distilled blend of wheat, rye and barley. It is aged for at least 4-6 years in oak barrels. Palette: Pale amber color. Aromas of flint, licorice, and buttery caramel nut fudge have a hint of acetone and follow through on a spry entry to a dryish light-to-medium body with cherry salt water taffy and sweet cream notes. Finishes with peppery caramel corn finish.

Very smooth. No bite or burn. It's perfect! These other reviews must have a different pallette than me.

Tasted like a 10 year bourbon aged in an ash tray. Not even close to Crown. I did not care for this neat or mixed. Strong pepper aftertaste that hits quickly and lingers.

Love this whisky. Lower price than regular Crown and I actually think it's a little smoother!

Nope. Nope. Nope. Literally a dull flavoring to your mixer. I say that cause drinking this straight up is absolute trash. Don’t. Back to drawing board. Whoever approved this or tasted this for approval get your tongue checked. Horrible.

  • Garrett

This whiskey has the worst after taste. Reminded me of kerosine smell but a taste. This won’t be high on my purchase choice unless it is the last bottle of whiskey left.

  • Chris

Great solid whisky. Very good straight and very good mixed with Coke and Ginger Ale. Around $25 bucks. Highly recommended

FAQs

Yes, whiskey is gluten-free, thanks to the distillation process used to make it. The Celiac Disease Foundation concluded that it can safely be considered gluten-free, though it’s still possible that some people with high gluten sensitivity or celiac disease could have a reaction to whiskeys created from certain grains.
Whiskey can include a large number of different distilled spirits made from fermented grain mash — usually cereal grains like rye, barley malt, wheat and corn. The drink undergoes aging in wooden containers, most often oak.
One of the reasons whiskey is so popular is that there’s no single way to enjoy it. There’s the purist route — straight and neat, no mixers, no ice — but what fun is being a purist? You can add water to it, which can enhance certain bottles’ flavors or you can add it with other ingredients to make delicious mixed drinks. It’s the foundation of the Manhattan, the Old Fashioned, the Whiskey Sour and many others.
