Weller Special Reserve Bourbon

One of my new favorites. Never find it in Denver, but Morgans seems to have a connect!

Great whiskey just not for a $100. Never pay more then $35-$40.

Best Bourbon for the price—hands down!!

5 stars because the bourbon is great, but at its legitimate $35 price for this bottle. What a rip-off.

Many years back I bought a bottle out of an open case sitting on the floor. Price was attractive enough to spring for a taste test. Over ice this was one of the best tasting bourbons I had ever drank. Dropped by again in a week or so and none was available. Apparently other customers discovered the same thing I did. These days I enjoy a sip or two of Makers Mark.

Firstly, this bourbon is excellent for the (retail) price, it's almost as good as the now impossible-to-find 12 yr. It's 5 stars. However...SHAME ON YOU DRIZLY FOR YOUR COMPLICTY IN VENDOR PRIOCE-GOUGING! I can find this in stores in different parts of the country fairly regularly for $45 for the 1.75ml but there's a local store in Denver upcharging the 750ml to $200!!! What?? I will forever boycott Pecos Wine & Spirits in Denver, CO for much larger & better store that actually has the decency to only charge fair retail (Molly's, Total Wine..heck I've even found it at CostCo!). I will also no longer be paying Drizly to deliver when I'm feeling lazy, hope your drivers that depend on this service understand.

Cap loose and leaking in the bag

Weller is 5 stars but I didn’t get it. Store did not have it.

A consistent favorite of mine, if you like wheated whiskies, with a sweeter more cereal flavor, this is it.

It's great stuff.
