I have tried too many bourbons to count. When Weller got hard to find here I decided I would find a new bourbon of choice. Jim Beam white label was the winner. Even when I have the option for Weller, I pick Jim Beam.

When I was discharged from the US Navy in 1968 I got a job & a place to live. First paycheck, the rent, groceries & a bottle of Jim Bean. My father always said, it doesn't cost that much more to go first class. Still buy it!

FAQs

Jim Beam Bourbon Whiskey is bourbon—it’s made from corn, which is a requirement for bourbon,  aged in new charred oak barrels (another condition for the beverage), and is always made in the United States(one more rule that must be followed). But, all bourbon is whiskey, which makes Jim Beam Bourbon Whiskey technically fall into both categories. Due to its adherence to bourbon rules and its robust and oaky taste, it is technically considered a bourbon, and that’s also how you’ll find it categorized on Drizly’s website and app—and how it will be categorized in your local liquor store.
There are three common ways to drink Jim Beam Bourbon Whiskey: neat (meaning served at room temperature with nothing added), on the rocks (where the bourbon is poured over ice), or with a splash of water (be sure to only do a splash, though, so you don’t over dilute the drink). You don’t need to do much fussing and mixing in order to enjoy Jim Beam Bourbon Whiskey, especially since the bourbon packs a flavor punch that’s complete with notes of vanilla and a spicy and oak-forward taste that’s enjoyable for all bourbon fans.
Many different sodas and juices pair well with Jim Beam Bourbon Whiskey. One popular cocktail is an Old Fashioned, which is made with bourbon, simple syrup, Angostura bitters, and an orange peel for garnish. There’s also the mint julep, which is made with bourbon, simple syrup, and muddled mint. For something simpler, you can also make easy bourbon-forward cocktails like a bourbon apple cider (simply adding some bourbon to some local apple cider) or a bourbon highball (which is just bourbon, soda water, and ice). Additionally, bourbon is a great mixer for cold-weather cocktails like spiked hot chocolate and a classic hot toddy.
Jim Beam Bourbon Whiskey is one of those liquors that is classic, delicious, and versatile, making it a great gift for anyone who likes the occasional bourbon cocktail. Receiving a bottle of Jim Beam is not only a practical gift (you know it will get used) but is also one that comes with history. This is a classic American liquor that has been made and perfected over seven generations of Beam family members, so you can feel confident that you’re giving a loved one a tried-and-true bourbon. Plus, for anyone who hosts dinner parties or informal gatherings, it’s always nice to have a bottle of bourbon to offer to guests—so it’s a win-win all around.
