I've tried all the expensive whiskeys, and I always find myself right back here to 1783 best batch.

Evan Williams 1783 Small Batch honors the year that Evan Williams founded Kentucky’s First Distillery. This small batch Bourbon is pulled from less than 200 barrels. It’s extra-aged, bottled at 90 proof and uses the same sour mash process and traditional recipe made popular by our namesake, Evan Williams Black Label. Evan Williams 1783 Small Batch shares in the heritage of Evan Williams Black Label, which is the second largest selling brand of Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey in the U.S., as both are named after Kentucky's first distiller. Evan Williams 1783 Small Batch is a brilliant honey with aromas of oaky vanilla, sauteed butter and buttered sweet corn and a taste of semi-sweet oak.View all products by Evan WilliamsCalifornia Residents: Click here for Proposition 65 WARNING

One of my favorite batches, sweet smooth but still bold.
If you drink it straight and neat, I think, you will like it. Not too sweet.

Evan never disappoints.
This a wonderful bourbon for value drinkers. I tried Wild Turkey 101, but found it too sweet with a cherry flavor which is not to my liking. Evan Williams 1783 has a dryer taste, which appeals to me. My first bottle was a major surprise.

I enjoy it straight, and it is more smooth than any Makers Mark, Knob Creek, or any other over-priced bourbon I've tried. Too bad tha Belmont Beverage in my area is always shelf-empty.

1783 Small Batch is simply the overall best tasting bourbon for the dollar in the entire industry. I have yet to experience such a high quality Small Batch bourbon on the market that can match flavor and cost of 1783. There are other excellent Small Batch bourbons for sale but you would have to spend nearly double to match the 1783 flavor, I know because I tried. On those nights when I desire a truly special bourbon, I pour 1783 into my favorite glass, neat, and just enjoy a few hours of satisfying evening time. This distinct bourbon EW distillers have bottled in 1783 Small Batch is the perfect bullseye of quality bourbon and price for me.

Every bit as good as more expensive liquor. Tastes as good or better than that bourbon that starts with W.
