Product description

Jim Beam® Double Oak is first aged in charred American white oak barrels, then we pour it into another freshly charred barrel to mature for a second time. The added interaction with the oak wood results in a liquid intense in flavour, smooth in taste. Winner of Gold Medal at the 2017 SIP Awards

I've been a "family Member" of the Jim Beam Family for many years. While I like to have an occasional drink, I go to Jim Beam. I've enjoyed all the flavors through out the years. It wasn't until recently when I was attending a function that I came across the Double Oak, the combined flavors that I took from it, Carmel, fruit, hint of vanilla along with that charred taste was incredibly tasty. I like my white label Jim Beam preferably in a glass, i will admit I mix it with soda from time to time, but I think I'll keep Double Oak in a glass by itself, or possibly one ice cube splashed into it, but for this one I'll leave out the soda.

It's such a pity that Australia has stopped its import.

I've been a beer drinker until here lately and I've tried some of the best Bourbon out there and so far this is the best one yet! I'm going to keep trying new ones, but I'm going to keep buying this one!

I threw over Black Label JB for this one after my first bottle. Sadly I have to go slightly out of my way to get as the closest store to my house is not carrying it, but it's worth it.

I'm just a regular guy that likes smooth whisky. This whiskey is bold on oak taste and smooth as Irish butter. There are more expensive blends out there, but they do not compare to the double oak. jB hit this one out of the park..outstanding!!!

Hands down the best on the market. Beats high priced bourbons and tastes way better.

Was looking for an inexpensive bourbon and saw this at the store, decided to give it a try. Very impressed and great price also.

FAQs

Yes, whiskey is gluten-free, thanks to the distillation process used to make it. The Celiac Disease Foundation concluded that it can safely be considered gluten-free, though it’s still possible that some people with high gluten sensitivity or celiac disease could have a reaction to whiskeys created from certain grains.
Whiskey can include a large number of different distilled spirits made from fermented grain mash — usually cereal grains like rye, barley malt, wheat and corn. The drink undergoes aging in wooden containers, most often oak.
One of the reasons whiskey is so popular is that there’s no single way to enjoy it. There’s the purist route — straight and neat, no mixers, no ice — but what fun is being a purist? You can add water to it, which can enhance certain bottles’ flavors or you can add it with other ingredients to make delicious mixed drinks. It’s the foundation of the Manhattan, the Old Fashioned, the Whiskey Sour and many others.
