Had this as part of an at-home Jack Daniel's flight. This one was my favorite of the ones we tried.

Quite good but a little over priced for what it is. Doesn’t have the candy like sweetness of ole number 7 but does carry hints of vanilla, caramel and some dark fruit. The barrel taste is present but not over powering and the finish is on the shorter side. It drinks a bit hotter than 47% and compared to something four roses small batch select at 52% it would be easy to think the JD single select is a higher abv even though it’s not. I like it and as a daily pour it’s nice but not worth what it costs

Wow! As a whiskey girl I think I have found a new favorite! The single barrel for top of the line Jack Daniel's Tennessee whiskey according to my love! I love the bold flavor as it has a little bite but no burn unlike Crown Royal. It pairs well with soda or shooting straight! I definitely recommend giving them a try if you haven't yet! #Yummy #HappyHour #JackDaniel's

Had a barrel pick from a bourbon group I'm in. The cask strength is an AMAZING bottle if you get the right pick!!

I like whiskey, and this kind is very strong. It's good for a mixed drink if you want it really strong, It doesn't sacrifice taste by being so strong. The taste is good, if you like whiskey.

I like Jack Daniel's as a whole and always have a bottle of single barrel at home but the negative I find is also the positive. Some batches are just better than others and while the overall quality is fine sometimes you just get a real harsh whiskey instead of something more palatable

FAQs

Yes, whiskey is gluten-free, thanks to the distillation process used to make it. The Celiac Disease Foundation concluded that it can safely be considered gluten-free, though it’s still possible that some people with high gluten sensitivity or celiac disease could have a reaction to whiskeys created from certain grains.
Whiskey can include a large number of different distilled spirits made from fermented grain mash — usually cereal grains like rye, barley malt, wheat and corn. The drink undergoes aging in wooden containers, most often oak.
One of the reasons whiskey is so popular is that there’s no single way to enjoy it. There’s the purist route — straight and neat, no mixers, no ice — but what fun is being a purist? You can add water to it, which can enhance certain bottles’ flavors or you can add it with other ingredients to make delicious mixed drinks. It’s the foundation of the Manhattan, the Old Fashioned, the Whiskey Sour and many others.
