    I'm no vodka snob, but I did tend to turn my nose up when it came to really cheap vodkas. But after all, vodka is nearly "unflavored" grain alcohol, so how bad can it be? Enter Kamchatka, 80 proof (40% alcohol), and I haven't looked back. It's very smooth, goes well on the rocks with a good splash of cold water, and a smile follows.

    LOL Leslie - the bottle says 40% alcohol by volume, which means 80 proof. ;) This vodka is excellent. Cheap, tasty, definitely does the trick!

    For the money great mixer, or sipping, has a slight fruity taste.

    Excellent sipping vodka, more than just a vodka, without any "chemical" taste. It is a vodka mixed with a liqueur and is a pleasing blend of the two, though not a "flavored" vodka. Years ago I would add vodka to a liqueur like Benedictine, on shaved ice, and it was wonderful. Kamchatka is good enough that the ice isn't necessary. I enjoy just sipping it at room temp.

    I wish Drizly sold real Vodka. It said 80 proof but was only 40 proof. But it was good in a pinch
